Altamont Seniors cancel January lunches

ALTAMONT — Due to recent icing on roads, parking lots, and sidewalks and the renewed concerns regarding surges in cases of the latest COVID-19 variant, organizers have suspended the Altamont Seniors Tuesday lunch program for the remaining weeks of January.

The scheduled program with Tom Capuano discussing “True Ghost Stories From Altamont & Surrounds” is tentatively rescheduled for Feb. 15 and may include co-author Thom Breitenbach.

A notice of the restarting of the lunch program will be published in The Enterprise and regular members will be contacted by phone.
