Elliott House Thrift Shop sells Christmas goods

The Elliott House Thrift Shop on Route 81 in Norton Hill will remain open until Saturday, Dec. 4, at noon. Christmas items have been added and more items will be added daily.
The shop is located in the former Powell Store, next to the United Methodist Church; it’s open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

“The shop still has a large selection of items at great prices,” says a notice from the thrift store. “Whether you are looking for clothes (both adult and children), white elephant items, toys, or household items, they can all be found at the shop.”

Volunteers run the shop and all proceeds benefit the programs of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
