FEURA BUSH — A Feura Bush resident, Rodolfo Rios, 52, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to first-degree attempted robbery in Albany County Supreme Court, only a year after being released from state prison for armed robbery.
Rios is accused of entering the M&T Bank on State Street in Albany on Monday, Dec. 18, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. armed with a knife, and demanding money from a teller, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s office.

The teller gave him an unknown amount of cash and he left the bank, the district attorney said in a press release.

Soon after the theft, an Albany Police officer recognized Rios from the description of the bank robber, and arrested him. According to the district attorney, Rios had with him the bank cash, a knife, and a plastic bag with crack cocaine.

Rios served 9 ½ years in state prison after being convicted in 2006 of armed robbery of the Citizens Bank on North Pearl Street in Albany.
