It’s been said the only two guarantees in life are death and taxes, but those who think that have clearly never met Dave and Jackie Chainyk. Their love and commitment to each other is as certain as the Earth’s rotation, and for the inspirational couple, the sun rises and sets on each other.
Whether enjoying a ride in their 1960 Impala or traveling around the country in their motorhome, these high school sweethearts have been side by side since the ’60s.  Their adventures have taken them out to Alaska and Jackson Hole, but plenty of their favorite moments have come right here in the Capital Region where they spent many weekends boating on Lake George, and raised three children in a home Dave built.

Six grandchildren and four (almost five!) great-grandchildren later, their love of family still fuels their love story — a story that’s reached an incredible milestone: 60 years of marriage! Happy Anniversary to the happy couple, as much in love today as the day they said “I do.”
