Proud to acknowledge Mr. Palow’s service
To the Editor:
I would like to thank Cohoes resident, Mr. [George] Hebert for bringing to everyone’s attention Mr. [Dennis] Palow’s 20 years of active military service [“I firmly believe that military service transcends politics,” The Altamont Enterprise Letters to the Editor, July 15, 2021].
He served two tours in Iraq, one in both Afghanistan and South Korea, and his current and continued service, training our soldiers to better equip them for their deployment and the successful accomplishment of their missions.
I read with great interest about the program that Cohoes has in place; certainly the town should consider his suggestions.
Having worked with Mr. Palow for the last four years, I am proud to have contributed to this small acknowledgement of his distinguished service. I encourage everyone to support all our town veterans, past and present.

Editor’s note: Anita Clayton is the Berne town clerk; she is running to be a member of the Berne Town Board on the GOP ticket with Dennis Palow who is running for supervisor.
