Nikolas Freihofer, a Bethlehem student, has earned certification from Adobe as a Professional in Visual Design, an Associate in Graphic Design and Illustration using Adobe illustrator, and a Specialist as a Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop. “Adobe certification signifies an expertise that colleges often award credits for and is used on resumes to get jobs,” said Capital Region BOCES Digital Media Design teacher Barb Gorbaty. To earn the Adobe certification, a person must demonstrate professional-level skills and expertise. “It’s amazing to earn a professional certification while I am only a junior,” said Freihofer. “This will help me get a job in the future.” Matthew Ryan, a Guilderland student, earned Adobe certification as an Associate in Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop.
