GUILDERLAND — Evan Frank Campana of Guilderland, a devoted father, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 11, 2021. He was 27.

“Evan’s love for his 2-year-old son, Ryder, was unmatched,” his family wrote in a tribute. “As best friends, he enjoyed raising him, and was looking forward to their first snowboarding trip to the slopes this winter, as well as the many father-and-son milestones and events ahead.

“A graduate of Clayton A. Bouton High School in Voorheesville, Evan was a passionate snowboard and Freebord (a snowboard simulating, downhill skateboard) rider. An example of this can be seen at:  https://blog.freebord.com/evan-campana-shreds-pagoda/.”

He is survived by his parents, Teresa and Dominick, and by his sister, Kendra, and his brother, Ethan, along with his beloved son, Ryder. He is also survived by his grandmother, Patricia McGurn, by his grandfather, Dominick Campana, and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His grandfather, Captain Frank Endebrock, and his grandmother, Eileen Endebrock, died before him.

Services will be private.
