“Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng will be discussed in March but two different book-discussion groups at the Voorheesville Public Library.
“Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari will be discussed by the nonfiction group at the Voorheesville Public Library on Monday, March 8, at 7 p.m.
A limited number of appointments are available Monday through Friday and Saturday to browse for and check out materials. Please call 518-765-2791, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to schedule your appointment
Creativity Lab Meet-up
This online meet-up for creative students is a great way to share some of the cool things you’ve been working on. Did you do the ping pong launcher lab? Done any sewing projects lately? Wood working? Lego projects? Come on, don’t be shy! Show us your creativity, Friday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. Students in grades 6 and up, please register to receive the link.
Craft & Chat
The next meeting of the Craft & Chat club will be Thursday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. Grab your latest project and join fellow crafters as we relax, and enjoy some casual conversation about whatever we feel like talking about. Register online to receive the Zoom meeting link.
Trustees meet
The public is always invited to all Voorheesville Library Board of Trustee meetings. The next virtual meeting will be at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 22. A link to attend will be provided online, at www.voorpl/about/boardoftrustees, seven days in advance.

Virtual
Story Time
No registration is needed, and the video link will be available on the library website and social media sites, to view at your convenience. Families of preschoolers can pick up a free take-and-make bag at the library each week, from Tuesday through Saturday.
The bag will include the story-time thematic art activity of the week. Check out some of these storytime themes:
— Color My World! Available beginning March 2;
— Up, Up, and Away! Available beginning March 9; and
— How Are You Feeling? Available beginning March 16.
