Schoharie Library Notes for Wednesday, January 20, 2021

The Schoharie Free Library remains open to masked, socially-distanced visitors during its regular hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday from noon to 7 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Need some children’s books in a hurry? Pick up one of our “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” totes with either 10 carefully selected picture books for 3- to 5-year-olds or a Baby Book Bag with five sturdy books for infants and toddlers. We just received new tote bags filled with new titles.  

All our regularly scheduled programs are currently meeting online via Zoom.  

Our Writing Club meets every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and is always welcoming new members.  

Work on a project and chat at our “UFO” Unfinished Object Club on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m.   

Attend our next Interactive Story Time with Miss Heather on Friday, Jan. 22, at 10 a.m. for stories, crafts, songs, and more.   

The Knitcetera Club next meets on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 10:30 a.m.   

And sign up now for our special Chinese New Year Crafts event with Sally Ziegler on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 4 p.m. Learn about some Chinese New Year traditions and make a handprint dragon and paper lanterns.
