Join Miss Lisa from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, for a fun and interactive Zoom live session of Library Tots! This program is for kids up to 24 months old with their parents or caregivers.
Fun Time Library Tots Activity Bags will be available for pick-up for those who register for the class. Items included, such as a board book for choral reading and interactive props, will be used during the class. Please register online to receive the Zoom link before the session.
Yoga for Everyone
Join us from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, for a vinyasa yoga class designed to help you gain a stronger sense of body awareness and proper alignment while linking breath and movement. Tricia Kanderfer is a certified yoga instructor who has years of teaching experience.
For ages 11 to adult. Please register online. The Zoom class link will be sent to those who register prior to the class session.
Creativity Lab: Drawbots
Build a moving robot to explore physics through art! Creativity Lab kits for tweens and teens to create a drawbot can be picked up at the library starting Friday, Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. Kits from Kiwi Co. include instructions, motor, markers, paper and all necessary components. Open to grades 4 to 8, limited to one kit per family, please register online.
Matt’s Musical Movers!
Looking to spend some time moving to music with your little ones? Music Together Online is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for ages 0 to 5 and the adults who love them.

— Cookbook Club: Thursday, Nov. 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – “Perfection” by Martha Stewart; and
— Middle School Book Club: Monday. Nov. 23, from 4 to 4:45 p.m. – “Slider” by Pete Hautman.

Library copies will also be available for checkout and downloadable ebook and audiobook versions are on Overdrive.
Early closing
In observance of Veterans Day, the Library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Library hours
The book-drop is unlocked, and curbside pickup and in-person browsing appointments are available during the following hours: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The library is closed on Sunday.
Updates to our services are posted on our website, www.voorpl.org. Any person entering the building is expected to: wear a mask; follow 6-feet physical distancing; follow directional arrows on the floor. In-person appointments for browsing the library can be made by calling 518-765-2791. Visits are currently limited to 3 patrons at a time for 30 minutes. Restrooms remain closed to the public.
