Guilderland Library Notes for Wednesday, September 16, 2020

Priya Krishna’s cookbook, “Indian-Ish: Recipes and Antics from a Modern American Family,” is the subject of Guilderland Public Library’s next virtual Cookbook Club, on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. Krishna is a food writer and regular contributor for The New York Times, Bon Appétit, and others, and co-hosts Bon Appétit’s YouTube Channel.

We’re in the final stretch: Sept. 30 marks the conclusion of the information-gathering phase for the 2020 Census. That means that, if you or someone you know has not yet responded, they must do so this month!

It’s so important that everyone is counted. This ensures we all get our fair share of vital funding and government representation. Please go to my2020census.gov (free WiFi 24/7 from our parking lot), or call 844-330-2020 to be included in the final tally.

Trustees meet

The next virtual GPL Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m., streamed live on our Facebook page.  Public commentary may be directed to:  .  Past meetings are archived at:  https://guilderlandlibrary.org/meeting-minutes/.
