While the tulips in Albany are real, the Tulip Festival on Saturday, May 9, will be virtual. City gardeners will take viewers on a tour of the tulip beds and musicians and a magician will perform, starting at noon on the Albany Events YouTube channel and @AlbanyNYevents platform.

While Albany’s annual Tulip Festival is a casualty of the coronavirus, the tulips were nevertheless blooming in splendor on Sunday as visitors to Washington Park, many of them wearing masks, enjoyed the warm, sunny spring day.
