We’re still here to help seniors in need

To the Editor:

I am writing to the New Scotland Seniors.

This is just a short note to let you know, even though we currently are not providing transportation for medical appointments or social outings, we are still available to return phone calls or assist those seniors that are in need.

Whether it be just a “wellness” phone call to check to see if you are all right or if you need some groceries, face masks (if available), or if you just want to chat to someone about what is currently going on with this pandemic, or just to say “hi.”

We are still available to listen or assist if you require services. Please just call and leave a short message on my phone 518-439-9038 or email me at and I will return your call.  There are many resources available to provide you with whatever you may require.

Remember, we are all in this together and we will come out stronger by staying together. Be safe and well.

I’m looking forward to  getting back to a more normal schedule for planning trips and socializing at the Community Center with everyone!
