Schoharie Library Notes for Thursday, April 2, 2020
The Schoharie Library is closed, consistent with the Schoharie school closure, until further notice. Please check the library’s website and Facebook page for updates.
Wifi is available outside the building and in the parking lot.
The book drop is closed — please hang onto your books till we reopen. No late fees will be charged as long as books are returned within two weeks of the library’s reopening.
Library activities online
Although our in-person activities are canceled or postponed, we’re holding Writing Club, Knitcetera Club, Books & Chocolate, and possibly other activities online! Check our FB Events for more information and updates. Here’s what we have scheduled so far:
— Mondays, March 30, April 6, and April 20, at 6 p.m.: Writing Club Online, link to Zoom video meeting (for all Writing Club meetings): https://us04web.zoom.us/j/138334849;
— Sunday, April 5, 6:30 p.m.: Books & Chocolate book chat. We’ll talk about whatever books we've been enjoying, and share ideas for future reading. This time you’ll need to supply your own chocolate, though! Link to Zoom video meeting: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/495639422; and
— Tuesdays, April 4 and 21, 10:30 a.m.: Knitcetera Club. Share knitting, crocheting, quilting, and embroidery projects, catch up with friends, enjoy some connection! Zoom link: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/909779068.
We’re planning online story time, too — we don’t have a start date yet, but stay tuned for more information! Check our Facebook page daily for updates, links to more resources, and online events. We'll get through this together!
