Suzanne Mary O’Loughlin, NP

“Suzanne Mary O’Loughlin slipped the surly bonds of Earth and passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 4, at her home after a short illness,” her family wrote in a tribute.

Born in Methuen, Massachusetts on Aug. 27, 1952, she grew up in North Andover and graduated from Presentation of Mary Academy before continuing on to MGH School of Nursing, a successor to the Massachusetts General Hospital nursing school, where she became a registered nurse.

She then received her bachelor of science nursing degree from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and became a nurse practitioner through the Albany Medical College Nurse Practitioner program. Throughout her career, she worked at Holy Family Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Community Care Physicians in Latham for over 30 years.

“Although grief fills the room up with her loss, there is solace in knowing she was not only loved but belovèd,” her family wrote. “She loved visiting Provincetown, the ocean, and her garden.”
