To the Editor:

I am writing to support Russ Pokorny for Knox Town Supervisor. I have known Russ for over 20 years and always found him to be the most honest, nicest person you will ever find.

His service to the town as assessor was exemplary, and he always went the extra mile to alert people to take advantage of the STAR [School Tax Relief] program.

He also serves the town in many other ways: as a volunteer fireman, supporting events at the Octagon Barn (e.g., contradances to raise money for the Jean Forti Scholarship Fund and other charities), and volunteering for many other community events.

He is a successful businessman for whom sustainability (environmental and financial) is always a major concern. If you would like an effective, efficient good neighbor for town supervisor, vote for Russ.
