Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 190, Article IX, Section 190-73 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:

A Public Hearing for Variance Application # 536

Variance Application #536:  Application submitted by Stephen and Hope Hadsell to request relief from Article 111, Section 190-29 (D)(1)(A) of the Town of New Scotland’s Zoning Law to allow an accessory structure to be located within the front set back on a lot.  The parcel is owned by the Hadsell’s, located in the RA district at 233 Bullock Rd. and is identified as tax parcel #83.-4-30.20.  The request is for 40’ of relief to allow the structure to remain located along the R.O.W. of Bullock Rd.

Said hearing will take place on August 27, 2019 at the New Scotland Town Hall 7:00 P.M.

Variance Application # 537: Application submitted by Mohawk Hudson Land  Conservatory  to request relief from Article III, Section 190-32C(5) of the Town of New Scotland’s Zoning Law to allow for a sign to be constructed on the front property line of the Bennet Hill Preserve. The parcel is located within the RF Zoning District on Bennet Hill Rd. The parcel is owned by the applicant and identified as New Scotland Tax parcel id # 117.-2-24. The RF district has a Front yard setback of 25’for signs. This request is for 25’ of relief to allow for the sign to be located along the R.O.W. of Bennet Hill Rd.

Notice is hereby given that I have received the tax list and warrant for the collection of school taxes in the Voorheesville Central School District.

I will receive all taxes beginning September 3, 2019 at the place listed below.  During the period from September 3, 2019 through October 2, 2019 inclusive, there will be no penalty charge for the collection of the tax.

VILLAGE OF ALTAMONT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that for the purpose of rezoning a certain tax parcel containing about 0.17 acres of land known as 107-109 Helderberg Avenue as a Central Business District, a public hearing will be held by the Village Board of Trustees at the Village Office, 115 Main St, Altamont, NY 12009, on September 3, 2019, commencing at 7:00 p.m. to consider the enactment of the proposed local law described below: 

Proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2019 of the Village of Altamont Repealing Local Law No. 1 of 2018 and Amending the Official Zoning Map. 

This Local Law: 

(1) Describes the authority of the Village Board to rezone the parcel in question; 

(2) Describes the purpose of the Local Law as repealing Local Law No. 1 of 2018 and amending the Official Zoning Map to move the parcel of land from the R-10 to the CBD zoning district; 

(3)  Repeals Local Law No. 1 of 2018.

(4)  Provides for the amendment of the Official Zoning Map to move 107-109 Helderberg Avenue from the R-10 to the CBD zoning district;

(5)  Establishes the effective date of the Local Law as the date of filing with the NYS Secretary of State. 

Copies of the local law described above are on file in the office of the Village Clerk, where it is available for public inspection during regular business hours. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard on said proposed local law at the public hearing.

The contract for the purchase of the above item will be awarded by the Town Board to the lowest responsible bidder. In case where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Town Board may reject any or all bids at its discretion.

The Town Board reserves the right to wave any informality in or to reject any or all bids.

 All bids must be accompanied by Non-Collusion Bidding Certificate required by Section 103-d of the General Law.

The Town of Knox is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit applications to provide asphalt paving services at the Knox Town Hall, Knox, New York.  Specifically, the RFP solicits asphalt paving services for the Town of Knox’s walking path located in the Knox Town Park. Quotation shall include proper preparation, installation of asphalt walkway and cleanup. A copy of this RFP can be obtained from the town of Knox website at www.knoxny.org until the deadline of this solicitation. Copies of this RFP may also be obtained from the Knox Town Clerk at 2192 Berne Altamont Road, Altamont, NY 12009 during the clerk’s posted hours.

The RFP must be submitted to the Knox Town Clerk in a sealed envelope marked “Request for Proposal-Asphalt Paving Services” at or prior to 7:00 p.m. on August 27, 2019.

The Knox Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals as submitted.
