To the Editor:

I am writing this letter in support of Mackenzie Hempstead and her run for a seat on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Board of Education. I have known Mackenzie for many years. She is someone always looking to broaden her horizons, to make herself a better person, and to be involved in all that her children want to do.

She has worked at BKW so she is familiar with a lot of what it takes to be a good board member. She has awareness of where the needs are, what issues need addressing.

I know that Mackenzie gives 110 percent of herself in all she does; I feel that she has the drive and desire to be a great member of the board. I am hoping that you will join me in casting your vote for Mackenzie Hempstead on May 21, 2019.
