To the Editor:

The Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs is grateful to everyone who helped make our annual Maple Festival pancake brunch fundraiser a success!

We appreciate all of our patrons coming out to contribute. We also thank the volunteers: Sue Mason and the Pony Pals and 4-H members and their moms, for their help waiting tables, and for bringing bunnies to pet.

Thanks to Helderberg Hilltowns Association members for their help, and to Kiwanis members and their spouses. Thanks also to Stewart’s Shops for its donations of ice cream and dairy products, and to the maple producers for opening their sap houses to tours, and for their generous donations of maple syrup.  

It was a very successful fundraiser, and we appreciate the community’s support for our programs to benefit local children and families.
