Utter to speak about the Erie Canal

To the Editor:

The public is invited to join members of the Guilderland Historical Society to hear Brad Utter’s presentation, “Enterprising Waters: New York’s Erie Canal,” at the Thursday, March 21, meeting of the Guilderland Historical Society.

Mr. Utter, the Senior Historian/Curator of Science and Technological History at the New York State Museum, is the curator of the museum’s current Erie Canal exhibit. The meeting time for this free program is at 7:30 p.m. at the Mynderse-Frederick House, 451 Route 146, Guilderland Center.
