Schoharie Library Notes for Thursday, March 7, 2019

Story time at the Schoharie Library is held on Fridays at 10 a.m. All ages are welcome to join us for stories, music, crafts, and games. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Celtic Celebration

Join Ariel and Iona Troupe on Friday, March 8, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Listen to stories from Wales, Scotland, and Ireland and snuggle with Ariel! Iona Troupe Irish Dancers will perform at 4:30 p.m. Refreshments (including Irish soda bread) will be served.

Career Information

Your Career Matters on Saturday, March 9,  from 10:30 to 11 a.m. with Career Coach Marsha Lazarus, MBA. She shares tips on finding the right job. Workshops are free and open to everyone.

Career Coaching Sessions: Saturday  March 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday, March 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.  One-on-one sessions with Ms. Lazarus are free and available by appointment only. Please contact or 518-295-7127 for an appointment.

Knitcetera Club

On Tuesdays, March 12 and 26, from 10:30 a.m. to noon bring a project, start something new, learn with materials from the library! All are welcome.

Drawing Classes

Life Drawing Classes with Joel Bramer on Monday, March 18, Thursday, March 21, and Monday March 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. Learn how to draw the human figure with a live (clothed) model! These classes are free of charge. Ages 10 to  adult are welcome. Registration is appreciated as class size is limited. Call 518-295-7127 or e-mail to register.

Writing Club

On Monday, March 18, from  6 to 8:30 p.m. writers of all ages are welcome! Bring your fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or any other type of writing to share, discuss, and critique.

Read with Ariel

On Friday, March 22, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. join us for reading to a therapy dog. It is a great way for kids to gain confidence and have fun with books!
