DEMOCRATIC  CAUCUS

To:   All duly enrolled Democratic voters residing in the Town of Guilderland, County of Albany, New York:

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to Section 6-108 of the New York State Election Law, and Article VIII, § 4 of the Rules of the Albany County Democratic Committee, the Town of Guilderland Democratic Committee will conduct a party caucus for the purpose of nominating candidates for the following public offices in the Town of Guilderland, New York, to be voted for at the general election to be held on Tuesday,  November 6, 2018:

TOWN JUSTICE  -  4 year term

HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT  -  to fill a vacancy through 2019

The caucus will convene at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 26, 2018, in the  LARGE PAVILION at TAWASENTHA PARK, 188 Route 146, Altamont, New York 12009.

All duly enrolled Democrats in the Town of Guilderland are eligible to vote at the caucus and are invited to attend.

Zoning Board

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 190, Article IX, Section 190-73 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:

A Public Hearing for Variance Application # 525

Variance Application # 525: Application Submitted by Jeff and Stephanie Muha  requesting relief from Article XIII, Section 190-99 of the Town of New Scotland’s Zoning Law to allow for additional horses to be allowed on a parcel which has applied for a private boarding and riding stable and arena. Public stables are allowed one horse for every two acres. The parcel which consists of 11.03 acres is located within the “RA” district at 82 Clipp Road. The parcel is owned by the applicants, is identified as New Scotland Tax parcel id # 94.-1-47.14. . This request is for 10 additional horses to allow for 15 horses total. 

 Said hearing will take place on July 24, 2018 at the New Scotland Town Hall  7:00 P.M.

LEGAL NOTICE

I, Patty Blackwood, the undersigned Village Clerk in and for the Village of Altamont, having received the Tax Roll & Warrant for the collection of taxes for 2018, will attend the Village Office, 115 Main Street, Altamont, NY from June 1, 2018 until July 02, 2018 Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12 noon and from 1:00 pm to 4 pm. During the month of June taxes are payable without penalty. A penalty of 5% (percent) will be added on all taxes remaining unpaid after July 2, 2018 and an additional 1% (percent) will be added on the first of each month thereafter.  If Village taxes are not paid by November 5, 2018 the taxes will be returned to the County of Albany for Collection.
