How the Capital Region’s Jewish community was impacted by World War I will be the subject of a “Synagogue Scholars” talk at B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation by Sage Colleges professor and B’nai Sholom congregant Dr. Harvey Strum. He will deliver his talk immediately following the congregation’s Shabbat service on Friday, Jan. 12. The service and program, open to all who wish to worship and learn, begin at 8 p.m. B’nai Sholom is located at 420 Whitehall Road in Albany.
