Bob Baron has been a valuable coach over the years

To the Editor:

As a father of four daughters, all of whom played basketball at the Voorheesville high school, it saddened me to hear that Coach Bob Baron had resigned.

Coach Baron has been involved with the girls’ basketball program for well over 25 years, first with the Catholic Youth Organization program and then as the coach of the high school program.

He has dedicated a great deal of his time to the girls’ basketball program and, based on the two state championships and countless sectional playoffs, it can only be noted what a valuable coach he has been over the years.  

Voorheesville has been very fortunate to have someone as qualified as Coach Baron to have worked with our girls for these years.  Thank you, Bob.
