Circus continues in Knox
To the Editor:
One more Knox Town Board meeting. One more of Vasilios Lefkaditis’s groupies (or if you prefer, trained barking seals) finding something to rage and rant about. Will this ever end?
The meeting was orderly with several issues being presented by various individuals and discussed calmly and courteously. Then, Amy Pokorny introduced a resolution in support of the Paris Climate Agreement for the town council to take under consideration.
At that point, seemingly right on cue, Lefkaditis’s groupie angrily interrupted the proceedings, senselessly accusing the town council of going against some unidentified federal law, which to the best of my knowledge is non-existent. Lefkaditis should have also been aware of that and should have put a lid on the rant — but, as usual, since it was one of his groupies, he let the rant continue.
If you want to observe the monthly town circus, all you have to do is attend Knox Town Board meetings. The meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of the month. Just be there before 7 p.m. to be assured of a seat. No admission charge — bring your own popcorn.
