GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Garden Club is busy getting ready for the Annual Open House and Greens Show at the Mynderse-Frederick House at 451 Main Street (Route 146) West in Guilderland Center.

The event, co-sponsored by the Guilderland Historical Society, is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2 and 3, from 1 to 5 p.m. The theme this year is “The Sounds of the Season.”

Visitors to this free event will enjoy homemade refreshments, musical entertainment, and a visit from Santa Claus. The house will be decorated with ornaments, wreaths, and arrangements made by garden club members.

Nonperishable donations will be collected for the Regional Food Bank. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a local organization. Members of the historical society will be present to provide information on the history of the house.
