Rev. van Maastricht to be installed

ALTAMONT — All are welcome to a special service on Sunday, Oct. 22, at which the Rev. Matthew J. van Maastricht will be installed by the Classis of Schenectady as the pastor and teacher of the Altamont Reformed Church.

Originally from Michigan, Rev. van Maastricht served two churches in Wisconsin prior to coming to Altamont with his wife, Marie, and 1-year old son, Hendrik.

The service will begin at 4 p.m. and will be followed by a reception to welcome family and friends who are celebrating with the church.
