Yankees win two at G rsquo land Babe Ruth Majors

GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Babe Ruth League continued play over the past couple of weeks.

In the Preps Division, the A’s defeated the Yankees, 19-2, last Monday.

Last Wednesday in the Majors Division, the A’s defeated the White Sox, 7-4.

Jack Walsh had two doubles and Tim O’Connor had two singles for the White Sox.

Vinny Tamburello and Sean Geisel each hit a double for the A’s.

Last Thursday, the Mets beat the Dodgers, 12-2.

Brett MacNeil hit two doubles for the Dodgers.

Also on Thursday, the Yankees beat the Cardinals, 7-4.
