Burglary at pro shop

GUILDERLAND — The Western Turnpike Pro Shop at the Guilderland town golf course was burglarized at the end of July.

According to Guilderland Police Captain Curtis Cox, the crime was reported on July 29, and had occurred overnight.

Forced entry had been made into the shop, Cox said, and money and receipts were taken from the cash register.

The Criminal Investigation Unit is still looking in to the matter, said Cox.
