Photos: Dutch Compete at States
It was hot and humid at Union-Endicott High School in Endicott for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association outdoor track and field championships. Guilderland sent three individual competitors and one relay team last Friday and Saturday.

Battling through the start: Guilderland’s Noah Tindale competes in the 800-meter dash on Friday afternoon. Tindale was able to fight to a third place finish with a time of 1:52.90 then competed in the 1600-meter on Saturday and finished in eighth with a time of 4:20.93.

Getting some air: Guilderland’s Isabella Bruno competes in the division one triple jump on Friday afternoon. Here, Bruno jumps on her third attempt and went 37 feet 3.25 inches. Bruno wasn’t able to advance to the final eight and finished ninth with the 37 feet 3.25 inches.

Guilderland’s Noah Carey competes in the 3200-meters on Friday afternoon but wasn’t able to finish because he was resting up for the 4 by 800 relay on Saturday. The relay team finished in 20th with a time of 4:20.93.
