Author Talk and Book Signing

This year marks the 200th anniversary of the groundbreaking of the Erie Canal, a marvel of early engineering and a transformative construction project that ultimately would span 363 miles across New York State.  Jack Kelly is the author of a marvelous book, Heaven’s Ditch: God, Gold, and Murder on the Erie Canal, a page-turning work of non-fiction that reads like a novel and was an Amazon Best History Book in 2016.  Kelly will be here to talk about the tumultuous history of the times and upstate New York, and will bring copies of his book to sell [payable by check or credit card] and sign.
