BERNE — Todd Orson Dibble Sr. died Friday, May 26, 2017. He was 48.

Mr. Dibble was born on January 27, 1969, in Albany to Minard and Shirley (née Delligan) Dibble. He attended Schoharie Central School District before beginning a career building pools, working for Korandace Pool Builders in Guilderland. Three years ago, he started his own business, Todd’s Pool Repair.

He met and fell in love with Brenda Decker. They were married on April 23, 1994.

Mr. Dibble enjoyed people, he loved being around them. He liked to spend his time camping at Belvedere Lake or just taking a car ride. He also enjoyed spending time with his faithful canine companion, Hannah, who will be missing her owner.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Lee (née Decker) Dibble;  his two sons, Todd Orson Dibble Jr. of Berne, and Trevor Anthony Dibble of Berne; five siblings, Martin Dibble Sr. of Germantown, Minard Dibble Jr. of Clarksville, Sandy Parsons of Warnerville, Mark Dibble Sr. of Berne, and Scott Dibble of East Berne; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, at the Langan Funeral Home in Schoharie. This was followed by a funeral service immediately after with Pastor James Wolford officiating. The burial took place at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Berne. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helderberg Ambulance, 978 Cole Hill Road, East Berne, NY 12059.
