Easy does-it: Artist Saul Schisler, kneeling at left, helps Lynnwood students — Juliana Gagliardi, Alyssa O'Connor, and Eric Ryan — make a spirograph on Friday morning in Timothy Fry’s classroom. The spirographs helped the students use math to learn how many points two different size rings make when their used together.

Hand spin: In efforts in making a spirograph, students and artist Saul Schisler help a student spin the inner plastic ring around the outer plastic ring being held down by other group members’ feet in the classroom of Timothy Fry at Lynnwood Elementary.

Making art: Two Lynnwood Elementary students, Rachael Dwyer and Samuel Panackal, with Rachel holding a giant pencil made by Saul Schisler, get help from teacher Cindy Dwyer  while Daniel Schleicher III looks on as they make a spirograph during Schisler’s Friday visit. The kids also used mathematics to see how many points the spirograph will make.
