Altamont Elementary held their annual American Carnivale at the school last Friday evening to raise money for the fifth grade field trip.

Hockey was part of the fun on March 3 at the Altamont Elementary School’s annual Celebrate America Carnival. The night also featured student-run games like Plinko, bowling and an obstacle course — all the raise funds for the fifth-grader’ class trip.

Last hurrah: Dana Doak is retiring after this year after 30 years of teaching at Altamont Elementary School. He participated one last time, on March 3, in the fifth-graders’ fundraiser for a class trip in “Soak the Doak” where kids pay to throw wet sponges at the popular teacher
