Patricia Belle Miller

GUILDERLAND — Patricia Belle Miller, described by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016. She was 92.

“She will be missed dearly by her family,” her family wrote in a tribute.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Altamont Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary, the Altamont Senior Citizens, and the Altamont Reformed Church.

Born in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Lena Parshall.

She is survived by her children, James W. Miller, and his wife, Judy; Nancy J. Barth and her husband, Rudy; Patricia Wiesmaier and her husband, Michael; Pamela Miller; and Robin Scrodanus and her husband, Charles.

She is also survived by her siblings, Albert Parshall, and his wife, Doris, Hazel Holden, Phyllis McDonald, and Persis Vehar; by her in-laws, Walter Miller and his wife, Barbara, and Patricia Miller; by her 17 grandchildren; and by her 21 great-grandchildren.

Her beloved husband, William James Miller, died before her, as did their daughter, Sally Jo Sullivan, and her brothers-in-law, Gerald McDonald, Robert Vehar, and Robert Miller.

Funeral services, arranged by the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home in Clifton Park, will be private for the family. Mourners may leave condolences online at gordoncemerickfuneralhome.com.

The family thanks Our Lady of Mercy Life Center staff and doctors for the “wonderful care they gave to Patricia.”
