Berne hosts second harvest festival

BERNE — The town will host the second annual Harvest Festival at Switzkill Farm on Saturday, Oct. 15. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be live music, hayrides, trail tours, scarecrow making, pumpkins, and kite-flying activities. Local crafts and farm products will be available along with cider making. An orienteering demonstration will take place at 10 a.m. Forever Rural will be running the grill to provide hot dogs and hamburgers.

If it rains, the lodge will be open and festivities move inside. Switzkill Farm is located on Game Farm Road off of Route 1 in Berne.
