GUILDERLAND — Catherine R. Easley of Guilderland is engaged to be married to Brian Schappert of Wyckoff, New Jersey.

Ms. Easley is a graduate of Guilderland High School, Class of 2005; she earned an undergraduate degree at the University at Albany in 2009 and a master’s degree at Montclair State University in school counseling in 2013. She is presently working as a career counselor at Bryant and Stratton in New York City.

Mr. Schappert graduated from Ramapo High School in 2003 and went on to college at Fairfield University, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in finance in 2007.  He is currently working at Gold Bullion International in New York City as a senior vice president of Sales and Business Development.

The couple resides in Hoboken, New Jersey with their dog, Dublin, and are planning a wedding in Cape May, New Jersey in June 2015.
