GUILDERLAND — Anthony and Lauretta Whitbeck of Guilderland announce the engagement, which took place on March 1, 2013, of their daughter, Toni Marie Whitbeck, to Seth. J. Canetto, son of Jay Canetto of Loudonville and Lisa Cowan of Altamont.

The future bride is a registered nurse at Union Memorial in Baltimore, Md. Her fiancé is an associate analyst at KBW in Baltimore, Md.

A Sept. 6, 2014 wedding is planned at the Mira Vista in Altamont.
