On Feb. 7, the Guilderland gymnastic team held their final meet at World Class Gymnastics to face Shaker and Bethlehem. The Shaker meet that was supposed to be on Feb. 1 was postponed due to inclement weather. The Dutch beat Shaker 160.225 to 145.075 and lost to Bethlehem 161.475 to 160.225.

In its Jan. 25 appeal, Pyramid claimed the November 2020 lower court ruling that stopped construction of the company’s 222-unit apartment development on Rapp Road as well as a proposed Costco Wholesale store was not made based on arguments presented by either the plaintiff or the defendants. The judge in effect took it upon himself to amend the original petition, Pyramid argued in court papers, and then didn’t give the town or company time to respond, violating the state’s prohibition against “litigation by surprise.”

Every time Jay Tyler, Guilderland’s emergency medical services director, has put in a request for 100 doses of COVID-19 vaccine — the minimum amount that can be asked for — the answer has been the same: The super-cold cupboards are bare.

In Guilderland, the Dunkin’ Donuts in Star Plaza on Route 20 is rarity — a suburban shop without a drive-through. It’s now looking to change that.
