The Guilderland girls’ track team added more hardware to its historic season by adding a national championship in the 1600-meter sprint medley relay; the team, which broke the meet record, consisted of Megan Swan, Saida Assabahi, Kendall Barnhart, in the foreground, and Addison Vellekoop.

Different class, same result: In 2023, the Voorheesville girls’ cross-country team stepped up in class and repeated as sectional champions and then returned to the state competition. In 2022, the team competed in Class D, won a state title, and in 2023 moved to Class C.
