Andy Wright is back as head coach of the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball team after coaching at Middleburgh following his ouster three years ago by the BKW School Board. The Bulldogs have had a rough first half of the season without two key starters injured during football season; they will be back in January.

Trying to keep his team in the game, BKW’s Slade Pulliam goes up for an easy layup as the Knights’ Michael Gosh looks on. Pulliam had a team-high 34 points.

The Knights’ defense tightened up in the second half and gave the Bulldogs trouble. Hard to go around, BKW’s Colin Becker attempts to go along the baseline as a Knight defender covers him closely.
