Photos: Guilderland students and Teachers Assistants help needy kids

Last Friday afternoon, Dec. 9, members of the Guilderland Teachers Assistants drop of donated toys from all Guilderland Schools to help out children in need.

This is the eighth annual toy drive held by the Teaching Assistant Unit of the Guilderland Teachers’ Association. Pennacchia is the president of the St. Madeleine Sophie Food Pantry.

The toys will, first of all, go to a party at St. Catherine’s Center, for homeless children awaiting foster care, and then to children in 150 local families in need.
