Photos: Dutch Girls Take Top Spot In First Invitational
On Sunday, Dec. 3, the Guilderland indoor track team competed in the Ithaca College High School Invitational being held at Ithaca College. The girls won with 134 points, 76 more than second place, while the boys finished in sixth with 34 points.

Running together: Guilderland’s Braelyn Cornell (2), Rebecca Kleiber (3), and Averianna Alteri (4) all stay close as they complete a lap in the 1500-meters. Cornell finished 2nd with a time of 5:02.98, Kleiber finished 3rd with a time of 5:15.69 and Alteri 7th with a time of 5:31.99.

Down the stretch they come: Guilderland’s Kendall Barnhart (5), Saida Assabahi (3) and Evynn Burnett (2) approach the finish line all together along with Ballston Spa’s Petrina Zborovszky. Barnhart finished in 2nd with a time of 7.43 seconds, Assabahi finished 3rd with a time of 7.58 seconds and Burnett in 7th with a time of 7.88 seconds.

In view of one another: Guilderland’s Sean Levy (13), Zexi Wang (10), and Graham Clarke (4) run close together during the start of the 1000-meter run. Levy finished in 8th with a time of 2:59.02, Wang in 13th with a time of 3:02.60 and Clarke in 14th with a time of 3:03.53.
