Defending Section 2 champions, the Voorheesville girls look to keep their title this basketball season. For the third time in three years, the Birds are under new leadership — coached by Tom Maxwell. The Blackbirds faced off against Cobleskill-Richmondville at home on Friday evening and won easily, 40 to 28.
