Seeking funds from the Voorheesville Community and School Foundation, Gabriella Curley presents her Little Big Idea for solar lighting on village signs throughout Voorheesville to the foundation board on Nov. 14. Her sister, Eva Curley, presented her Big Idea for a warming shed for Tork Hill sledders. Later, on Nov. 17, Voorheesville Mayor Robert Conway pitched the idea of an amphitheater and parking at Tork’s Hill. Another finalist was a Little Big Idea for a Blackbird Mentor Program at the Voorheesville Middle School. Competition winners will be decided at the foundation’s December meeting.
