Photos: Eagles and Guilderville Dive Towards States

Last Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 6 through Nov. 8, Guilderland-Voorheesville and Bethlehem swim squads took to the pool at Shenendehowa to look to qualify for the state competition on Nov. 21 to 22 at Webster High School in Rochester.

Quick glide: Eagles’ Lily Hynes lays on top of the water as she swims the backstroke portion of the 200-yard medley relay. The relay team finished third on Friday with a time of 1:56.82 and on Saturday finished third overall with a time of 1:55.83.

Sancilio finished 19th overall with a time of 27.21 seconds, Yafayeva 15th overall with a time of 26.94 seconds, and Hynes fourth with a time of 25.43 seconds.
