“The Cottage,” which was on Broadway last year, comes to the Guilderland High School stage this month. Director Andy Maycock describes the play this way: “It’s a modern take on the old trope of polite society folks having secret affairs. I can’t say too much because there are a dozen twists, but it goes into issues of true love and soul mates and the age-old question, ‘How can I be sure I found the right person?’” Here, Deirdre, played by Natalie Deso, spins Sylvia, played by Evie Ayers. The show runs Nov. 7 and 8 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 9 at both 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets at the door cost $5.
