That famous bear: In recent days, a small black bear — for real — has twice been spotted near Altamont Elementary School. During Tuesday’s costume parade, a couple of faculty members have a little fun, dressing as a bear and a crossing sign, riveting the attention of a costumed kid. The parade’s theme was Adirondack Wildlife, and Principal Peter Brabant dressed as a park ranger. Teacher Robert Whiteman dressed as himself, riding a bear.

Having a blast, Wonder Woman laughs, as a lady in hair curlers with cat-eye glasses and cats covering her body smiles during the Altamont Elementary School Halloween Parade.
