Photos: Golfers Battle Weather And Course For State Qualification
Last Wednesday and Friday, Oct. 15 and 17, golfers from Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Bethlehem, Guilderland, and Voorheesville competed in cold weather and a challenging course to qualify for the state competition in June.

Driving it long: Guilderland’s Carrie Lama starts her downswing as she brings her driver towards her ball as she tees off on the first hole last Wednesday. Lama shot an 88 then on Friday shot an 86 as she qualified as an alternate for the state team.
