The Dutch girls’ tennis and field hockey players used their rackets and sticks to get past their opponents last week. The tennis team opened up sectional play on Tuesday afternoon at home as the number-one seed in Class AA and smashed Ballston Spa, 8 to 1. Next up, the Dutch play Saratoga at home this afternoon. The field hockey team, which moved its home games to Afrim’s Sports complex in Colonie, faced off against Bethlehem on Friday. The Dutch won, 4 to 2.
